  • Executive Chef

    Born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1980 and graduating from The Art Institute of Indianapolis with honors in Baking and Pastry. Kandy first worked in a restaurant at age 14, then worked many years in the warehouse industry before pursuing her passion for pastries. Working her way towards her dream, her first professional restaurant job came in 2017. She attained the chef of The Wadsworth, a bistro café in Downtown Hartford, CT. With much perseverance and determination, she moved herself into the chef position of Republic at The Linden. A Bistro pub restaurant for the same company.

    After two years with MRG, Kandy decided to team with West Hartford chef Dorjan Puka to open up DORO Marketplace for DORO Restaurant Group. She intends to use her passion, culinary knowledge and experiences to expand DORO Restaurant Group and keep DORO MKPL and other ventures in the forefront of the culinary world.

  • General Manager

    Born and raised in Bristol Connecticut, Kieran started his restaurant career in Danbury CT while attending WCSU. After moving to Edinburgh Scotland in 2007 to study Archaeology he started in hospitality management while working for Edinburgh University Students Association, one of the largest multi venue student unions in the UK. This is also where he fell in love with European cafes and bakeries. 

    Kieran came back to the US in 2010 and started with the Max Restaurant Group at Max Downtown as a Bartender and Server; after moving back to Scotland for his MBA he returned to the Max Group at Max Tavern in Springfield. 

    After five years at Max, Kieran took a left turn and deciding to take a challenge Kieran left hospitality in 2019 to take a Chief Operation Officer position with a newly created CBD. When SMiller gave Kieran a call he said he was not looking for a restaurant position. Scott asked him to come down to Doro Marketplace anyway just to have a chat. As soon as Kieran walked in, he felt like he was back in Scotland and asked Scott what he needed to do to make this place awesome!


  • Assistant General Manager

    Audra started her restaurant career at Manchester Pizza & Grill as a Hostess/Server for several years. Shortly after she found herself growing with Bertuccis during the pandemic; from Bartender & Supervisor, to becoming a Manager. That’s when she knew she had a love for the industry.

    Working in dine-in restaurants for so long, Audra was ready for a change and to see what else the restaurant industry had to offer! Which lead her to the Doro Restaurant Group, where she is now the Assistant General manager of Doro Marketplace; and truly couldn’t be happier!

    On her free time Audra has a passion for photography and being outdoors. She enjoys spending time with her family and her four-legged children, Lex and Taz.
